WHO WE ARE
Lifeline for Kids Education International (LikE) is a community-rooted nonprofit supporting children’s education in Winneba, Ghana.
We partner with under-resourced public schools to provide books, school supplies, classroom resources, reading support, student encouragement, and practical help that removes everyday barriers to learning.
At the heart of LikE is a simple belief: education is a lifeline. When children have access to books, caring support, and the basic tools they need for school, they are better prepared to learn with confidence, dignity, and hope.
OUR MISSION
To help children in Winneba, Ghana build strong foundations for learning by expanding access to books, school supplies, reading support, classroom resources, and practical care that helps them stay engaged in school.

COMMUNITY
Children thrive when schools, teachers, families, donors, volunteers, and local partners work together. LikE is built on relationships and the belief that children’s futures are a shared responsibility.
CURIOSITY
Books, stories, questions, and guided reading support help children discover the joy of learning and the confidence to keep exploring.
DIGNITY
Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and equipped for school, whether through books, supplies, uniforms, hygiene products, meals, or a proper place to sit and learn.

STEADY CARE
We believe change grows through consistent presence: showing up year after year with encouragement, resources, and support children can count on.
RESPONSIVENESS
We listen to teachers and school leaders, then respond to practical needs that make learning more possible.
LikE’s work is rooted in the warmth of Ghanaian community life: the belief that children are raised by many hands, that stories carry wisdom, and that when one person learns, that knowledge should be shared.
In Winneba, we see reading not only as a school skill, but as a doorway to confidence, belonging, and hope.
