OUR TEAM

LikE is powered by people who believe that children’s futures are worth investing in. Our work brings together leadership in Eugene, local support in Ghana, teachers and school leaders in Winneba, project assistants, donors, volunteers, and community partners. Each person plays a part in helping children receive the books, supplies, encouragement, and learning support they need.

Stella Dadson

Founder

LikE began through the vision and commitment of Stella Dadson, a former elementary school teacher and principal with several decades of experience helping children learn and grow.

Her background in education shapes the heart of LikE’s work: practical support for classrooms, close collaboration with teachers and school leaders, and a deep belief that children need both encouragement and the right learning conditions to thrive.

What began as a simple donation of books and school supplies has grown into a broader education-support initiative rooted in Stella’s lifelong commitment to children, reading, and school success.

Local Project Assistants and School Partners

LikE’s work depends on the people who show up for children week after week. Project assistants, teachers, and school leaders help make reading clinics, assessments, supply distributions, student awards, and special-response projects possible. They are not just helping deliver programs. They are helping create spaces where children feel supported, encouraged, and ready to learn.
